Excuse our language, but your favourite lager is a cold hearted bitch! Lager’s final taste is the result of being matured in cold storage. One of the most popular categories amongst beer fans, the lager gets its name from the German word “lagern” which means “to store” and describes the way it’s stored in natural locations such as caves.

Pilsner
The fairest of them all! Arguably, some of the most iconic beers derive from the pilsner style. Pilsner is a type of lager that was invented in 1842 in the Czech city of Pilsen.
